Apply for a Grant?
The good news is that the process of applying for a Trust Fund grant has never been easier. You can do it online. Just review the application process below, gather a few materials, then click on Apply Online. You can also print and submit our paper application if you prefer. The printable application has instruction and the address where you can send your paper application.
Sometimes it's difficult to know what might be an eligible request. If you need help figuring out what you can apply for, refer to the link below. Please be aware that over 95% of eligible applicants that completed the application process in FY2021 received a grant from the Commission.

Determine Eligibility.
You must be a U.S. citizen, a Georgia resident, and have a traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury.

Identify Your Need.
Select an item or service that will improve your quality of life, independence, and participation in the community.

Submit Required Documents.
Complete online or print the application along with all required materials and submit for review:
- Injury documentation
- Medical documentation or letter on medical facility letterhead describing NATURE, CAUSE, and DATE of your injury.
- Cost Quote
- Include one cost quote or estimate from a vendor for each request.
- Affidavit of Citizenship
- Present a Notary Public with a valid proof of U.S. citizenship; sign and notarize the affidavit and submit with original application.
- Proof of Georgia Residency
- Submit a copy of proof of Georgia residency (e.g., valid driver's license, utility bill from past 60 days, paycheck stub, etc).
